Tabs

Hi Y’all,
We’ve received few questions regarding the back pocket tab on the Momotaro jeans. Some folks noticed that the Momotaro jeans available in the US don’t have the particular tab, where as the jeans in Asia and Europe have the tab. The thing is this does not only apply to Momotaro but other Japanese denim brands as well.
This might be new to some of y’all so few words on the topic then. Some of you already know the case from few years back where a certain denim brand was seeking legal action against some global denim brands (not including Momotaro) which had similar qualities to the classic designs such as the back pocket tab and the icons on the leather patch.
Well the situation cooled down and after the dust had settled, some brands had to redsign their jeans in one or more ways (usually removing the red tab and redesigning the leather patch). Today the products sent to the States do not have the particular tab to ensure everything is done by the books.
So just to clarify there are basically no differences between the products here and there. The only obivous difference is that the jeans in the States don’t have the back pocket tab.
Nothing much to add to that. I will get back at all y’all later with some other stuff.
Prosperous day to Y’all…
