Worn Momotaros

Hi Y’all,
Today coming at ya with a twist, like a twist of lime in a cool drink. Haha, that’s it for the opening words. Had a major day yesterday with major updates and appointments and ended up getting shuteye real early too. You know the days when you lay on your back at 9pm and fall asleep. Next thing you know is that it’s 1am, damn. Lucky there wasn’t anything special on TV, heh.
Alright, well today I got inspired by browsing our good friend Japanblue’s site and bumped into a nice wear and tear project there. Shout out to Mic from Italy on this.
So I’ve been posting pics of my current 0901 Momotaro wear and tear project. Today I’m sharing few pics and details on a wear and tear project from Japan, this one on the same Vintage label jeans, but with 0701 Tight Fit Straight cutting. They posted a detailed presentation with photos and info on a pair of 0701s after plenty of wear. It shows really nicely how a pair of Momotaros develop and personalize in your everyday wear. Worn for several months about 12 hours a day without washing and when the jeans really needed to get their wash they were washed reversed with proper washing liquid just like your normal laundry then hang dried.
So below a few pics fresh 0701s and of the well worn ones.

Just to throw a comparison a pic of my 0901 project next to the respective 0701 project. Both Vintage Label Momotaro jeans, but again show significant difference.
The personalization and individual features are a very attractive feature of fine jeans such as Momotaro. To an untrained eye the jeans might appear the same, but in actuality, all have their individual aspects due to being hand-made artisan products. No two pairs are alike, especially when it comes to the worn jeans.
So stay fresh y’all. Life’s good so appreciate it. I’m out, peace…
