Happy Halloween!

Hi Y’all,
Happy Halloween!
It’s again the time of the year when the freaks come out. Halloween, the classic holiday that has its roots in the Celtic harvest festivities and Christian All Saints Day falling around this time of the year. Finland is still only adopting this holiday as a great reason to throw a party. Still it is amusing to see kids going trick or treating in the neighborhood dressed as ghosts and vampires. Just few years back folks usually didn’t have candy or any treats for the kids and ended up getting tricked. Well today I would imagine folks are more prepared and won’t get their house egged, heh.
Watch this space

I love watches. Big, small, analog, digital – in all shapes and sizes. As long as they look ridiculously good. And the new G-Shock Rescue does. I don’t know about you guys, but the bright red really reels me in… Like the winch of a rescue helicopter… Incidental? Unlikely, as the major inspiration behind this watch were search-and-rescue teams. (continue reading…)

Hi Y’all,
Thursdays are full of hope. That’s what my folks always told me when I was just a young gun growing up in the comfort of my hometown. Well Thursdays are not bad, not at all. Friday’s up next and then weekend. We’re also getting some sunshine which is nice. It was so dark last night I mean we literally dug up candles to bring in some mood light. I mean last time we did that was last Christmas, haha.

Pebbles.
Pebbles breaking the calm surface of a pond, shattering the moonlit bridge into a thousand tiny fragments, creating small circles, one after the other.
And yet, as always, their effect, as heartrendingly beautiful as it may be, is soon but a memory.

Hi Y’all,
Super Sundays. Damn, this Sunday I feel as if time is has slowed down. It’s only 7pm and I
feel as if the day has been moving in slow motion. Well this could be partially because of the seasonal change as well as change in time. We’re now in the Winter-Time and that means all of the clocks were turned one our backwards. One hour more to sleep, “jet lag” for the rest of the day, heh. So if you haven’t changed the time on your clock, do that now. Of course if you’re staying in the region where this does not apply, forget what I said.
Saturday and some kicks
by Taavi Kuisma on Oct.25, 2009, under Headlines
Hi Y’all,
Saturday’s like my favorite day of the week. I mean growing up as a young whippersnapper Saturdays meant few things; no school, Saturday morning cartoons, more time to spend with friends and fam of course. For sure there are and were like a dozen other reasons why Saturday’s rock but yeah, I just love em.
At your service.

“It begins, as most things begin, with a song.
In the beginning, after all, were the words, and they came with a tune. That was how the world was made, how the void was divided, how the lands and the stars and the dreams and the little gods and the animals, how all of them came into the world.
Friday updates and introductions
by Taavi Kuisma on Oct.23, 2009, under Headlines
Hi Y’all,
Fridays are great days. Just a step away from weekend, heh. For me it feels like every day’s my birthday so I don’t really mind whether it’s Friday, Wednesday or Sunday, they’re all good. Somehow I feel that I do favor Saturdays though, heh. The week was rather packed up with meetings and the usual stuff. Nevertheless these meetings were pretty nice, the good creative types. Brainstorming and throwing around ideas on how to conquer the world, heh.

Hi Y’all,
Busy week with extraordinary days. But a great week nonetheless. One of the most amazing things I came across with this week was the sudden change of climate. Early winter as one might call it, definitely surprised many drivers out there. I guess the snow has melted away from majority of the cities, but there’s still some snow left here and there. It’s amazing to still see the colors of the autumn in the trees, just with a coating of snow on the top. Even the apples are still on the trees just pretty much frozen now, heh. Below just few pics to further elaborate what I mean.
