What’s good y’all?

Hope you remembered to switch your clocks and watches to summer time. Daylight saving time is here once again. It feels as if it was yesterday when we just pushed the time back by an hour. The whole concept of DST is controversial and I can tell you I survived very well back in Malaysia and Singapore without ever thinking about it. Hi Y’all,

What’s good? Life for once. Misty Saturday morning. We got some rain last night and the snow is melting fast. Hope things stay the same. I mean I have nothing against sub zero temperature but it’s about time the snow melted away and we could dump the boots for some sneakers. We’ll see. The mist looks nice though. Reminds me of our trip to Genting in Malaysia when all I could see from our hotel window was clouds and mist. Ah, those were the days.

Hi Y’all,

I just bumped into the fresh video for Our Dreams from Method Man, Ghostface and Raekwon’s collaborative album Wu-Massacre dropping on March 30th. Interesting enough Mr. Method Man himself is visiting Helsinki this upcoming weekend for a performance, hopefully I can find time to visit the concert. It’s been like a year since the last time I attended a rap concert. That one was by Too Short, and it was a good show. Being that I am quite a fan of the Wu I’m really looking forward to the album.

HI Y’all,

I am a social media addict. There, I said it. I’m addicted to my crackberry (I know iPhone is not a Blackberry), my Facebook and my twitter account and all sorts of forums out there on the web. I mean ever since the first time I got myself an MSN account I was hooked. I get most of my daily news through some sort of social/ digital media. The innovations like Apple’s iPad take leaps forward making online magazine/news/book reading even more mobile and convenient. I know I’m a lost cause but I still appreciate a concrete magazine every now and then, latest magazine I was reading was the Workwear magazine. That opus actually contains plenty of details not all so available online. Or maybe I’m just not searching the information in Japanese. But Have you noticed that magazines and newspapers are becoming increasingly slimmer? The companies are transferring their marketing to different media, often online. When was the last time you read a newspaper?

Week ten of my project has been a turbulent one. At least what comes to my jeans that is. But it’s all good and part of the process. I mean these jeans will literally go through every element in the book (maybe not fire). From sub zero temperatures to the warm summer days and so on. But let’s not go there yet. Right now we’re still in March. March 21st and it’s as soggy as it gets out there. All that snow is now trying to find a place to run forming puddles all over the roadside. The jeans actually had an intimate meeting with a particularly cunning puddle the other day. As a result the right leg of the jeans (half of it) was totally “soaked” and the left one to almost same degree. The drivers are not making it easy for the pedestrians either.
