Kor Water – The Core

by on May.14, 2010, under Accessories & Luggage, Headlines

Good morning world!

I posted a little Going Green edition some time back that featured a Hong Kong architect who designed his 300 sq. ft. apartment to cater for 24 different rooms.  I love it when design mixes with the green values in a not so tacky and obvious way so today I’m continuing the Going Green series with some pretty cool stuff.

So, what’s the core of physical life? According to quite a lot of people and the founders of Kor Water it’s obviously Water. Indeed, water is pretty essential part of life and you should be consuming at least 8 glasses of water a day. It sounds very easy but still you have folks switching those 8 glasses of water into coffee, diet coke and such. Well enough preaching, each their own. Just remember to drink that water people!

So what’s Kor Water then? In short, it’s a company that produces wicked water bottles. Not getting you excited enough? Well, these bottles are so cool they’re even the bottle of choice for Mr. Tony Stark (the other Tony Stark).

I somewhat liked the way they explained the meaning of their logo (below). “The KOR logo both resembles a water drop and is inspired by the Chinese concept of yin‐yang, which describes two opposing and yet complementary aspects of any phenomenon. Green and blue sides of the KOR water drop join to represent the dualistic relationship and balance of earth and water.”

At least they’re explaining their logo, something I should probably do at some point as well. I used to drink the same stuff as Iron Man did in the movie, you know chlorophyll it was kind of like grass thrown into a blender and then mixed with water. The stuff wasn’t that bad, just your basic good for you stuff. Only way that could have been “better” would have been with a cool bottle.

I don’t hide it, I like cool stuff and gadgets and this one fits the category. It’s a very nicely designed futuristic water container. A Kor Water container. It’s available in different colors of which you can find two below. The blue and green ones. You know because the logo’s blue and green.

I’m sure that the bottle’s popularity will hike just because of the Iron Man factor and why not? Well done Kor, I’m also in need of a new water bottle so if you’re reading this, do send me one. :) With this one it’s not just the green values

That’s all for this Friday’s Going Green edition. It’s looking mighty green outside as we’re thankfully having another very warm and sunny day here in Finland! Speaking of water, I need to get my jeans back inside. Another wash and they’re better than ever. So till we meet again, I’m out like last season. Peace!
