Stuff to wear – Shattered time

Hi Y’all,
A lighter post for the beginning of the week. Been multitasking the whole day and although it’s 8pm there are still a few things to do before catching some shuteye. With days like these you really need to stay on time with everything you do. After all, I would argue that timing is a key to effective multitasking. Phones, notebooks and mp3 players help in keeping the track of time, but for this there’s nothing better than a classic wrist watch.
Now with classic I mean a wrist watch, a watch that you wear on your wrist. The way of reading time has evolved in steps from analog watches to digital ones and beyond. Today I present you with my recent favorite find. Kisai Broke USB Chargin LED watch from Tokyoflash.

The watch is nice mix of style, colors and a hint of crazy in it. This gives a whole new meaning to shattered time.

I have been a fan of Tokyoflash watches for over half a decade and my Pimpin Ain’t Easy SS is still getting attention as if I bought it yesterday. But enough of my watch, let’s focus on the new Kisai Broke. The watch offers a new way to read time that’s still quite close to a regular clock. Like Tokyoflash put it, “features that will make you want to break away from dictated fashion trends.” I like that. Don’t follow fashion trends, create them. The fragmented mineral crystal lens and colored LEDs make sure that you can check the time no matter how dark it is. Typical to these eccentric watches, the new Kisai also has a light up function which you can set up to light up every 15 minutes between 6pm and 12am. You can also set this function off to save battery.
What I really like about the watch is not just the brushed aluminum look of the watch but also the USB recharging capability. Just plug the watch to your com and charge the battery. How nice is that?
While I have been in search of a “more traditional” watch this one has got me thinking. I really like the design and I’m sure the watch would look good on my wrist. The price tag is not bad either, “only” 124 €. Just like with every Tokyoflash design, you need to act fast if you want to get one of these babies as they’re all limited edition pieces available for limited time only. Sooner or later the design is wither on your wrist or in the Watch Museum.
I have a lot more to write about this week. Bunch of hopefully nice articles that will lighten up your day.
I’m off for now, take care of you and yours. Peace.
