Victorian Star Wars – Another Art Edition

by on Jun.21, 2010, under Comics, Design and Artwork, Headlines

Greetings!

Today was a good day, if extreme multitasking and living life on the fast lane are your cup of tea. But it’s all good, these days challenge you and give you a chance to push yourself to the limit and come out victorious. Or you can end up on a sick leave, should all go wrong. But days like these need a soundtrack, something smooth that fits the theme of the day. Today’s theme song has been Rick Ross’ Super High. I mean you need to be super high to stay smiling while carrying the world on your shoulders.

Apologies to anyone not able to view the video. For some reason some videos are blocked in certain regions. Shout out to Tim for pointing this out!

While enjoying my 15 minute lunch break at some point today, I actually found something that I classify as something pretty dope. Victorian Star Wars anyone?

From what I gathered Illustrator / animator Greg Peltz whom is responsible for this outrageously dope portraits got his inspiration from another illustrator Robert Mackenzie whose Chewbacca meets John Singer Sargent picture provided the inspiration to produce pictures of Chewbacca (with a monocle), C-3PO and Boba Fett in Victorian fashion. The minimalistic comic book art pieces were dope but so is this. I duly respect creativity and this one is truly creative work. Kudos!

I am off to recharge batteries for tomorrow. So no matter where you are, keep your heads up and don’t get fed up. One love y’all, I’m out! Peace.

P.S. Download that iOS 4.0!
