You know we love our comic books and comic book heroes. For those who didn’t know, there is such thing as Japanese Spiderman whom pays resemblance to to the beloved superhero. However few years back Alrugo Entertainment an Australian film-maker collective formed by Dario Russo, Tait Wilson, David Ashby, Will Spartalis and Boris Repasky created a character that got the Internet talking. Italian Spiderman was born.

The 10 episode online movie that featured an Italian take on Spiderman. The 60′s inspired film was an awesomely tongue in cheek slapstick comedy that presented a hero like no other. The best way to fully understand the awesomeness of the Italian Spiderman is to watch the episodes.

The project that first started as a small time “school project” actually caught so much viral hype that more episodes were produced to make it an actual online film. I would have loved to see more episodes from the Italian Spiderman but who knows.
