Doraemon was never a big thing in Finland, 99% of the population at my neck of the woods still probably have no idea who the character is although he is one of the biggest anime characters of all time. Known around the globe for his antics especially his magic pocket, flying skills, gadgets and teleporting door. Oh yeah, if you are not familiar with this beloved character it’s time to get to know Doraemon. Personally I had heard of the character already i nthe past but only got really acquainted with Doraemon back in Malaysia where he is a big deal among the kids.

I’m a fan, which is why a sneaker collaboration dedicated to the character stood out in today’s sneaker postings. Japanese brand Madfoot has produced an exclusive Doraemon Monochrome Pack in association with online store ASBee .

The shoe itself is a Mad Storm Hi sneaker from the brand with embossed Doraemon print upper, signature bell replacing your average lace-lock and clock print inner.

My wife’s reaction about the shoe was that it was something good for our little boy once he’s born and little bit older but bells in the shoes of a grown man?
