Yesterday, I dropped news on the KIKSTAGE collaboration featuring the ever so lovely Aya Kiguchi. Well, some questions have raised about the collaboration especially on the reference to KIKS TYO version of the tee.

This is not the first collaboration between Stage from Taiwan and KIKS TYO from Japan (and most likely not the last either). This time around the collaboration resulted in two different tees. One for KIKS TYO and hand picked KIKS TYO retailers around the world (yes, including us) and one for Stage stores and associates.

The above tee, which I showed yesterday is this KIKS TYO version. But below is a look at the Stage version as well.

The art has similarities, but the shirts are nothing alike. One thing that remains the same with the shirts is the cool graphics and of course Aya. Interesting enough in the Stage version, Aya does not have any kicks on! Not very KIKS TYO-like. But both shirts are cool, that’s for sure.

The the limited edition KIKS TYO exclusive features Aya Kiguchi in white bikini wearing a pair of red Converse All Stars (very nice). Some have also wondered about the lion-like character sitting in front of Aya. That’s Karter, Stage’s mascot.
