Running out of time?

Time is of the essence every minute of every hour of every day etc. Today I made use of most of the time and I didn’t even have my wrist watch on me. Funny. You know the feeling when you forget your watch, ring, bracelet or something else you have with you most of the time and now that you don’t have it you feel totally naked. Lucky this doesn’t happen to me too often.
But since I spent my day without my watch I think it’s fitting that I end the day with a little Watch Edition. This time a collective edition with three pics of the week. All of them awesome in their own way.
First off, Bell & Ross BR 01-02 Compass. A limited edition watch inspired by old aviation navigation equipment. The time itself is displayed on the fixed point on top of the dial. Pretty neat huh?

For those on the look for something way out of the ordinary, simple but conspicuous, something that takes you out of all that noise surrounding you, this is your choice. It’s a watch that’s different in every sense of being different. The Mutewatch features a hidden screen that activates on touch and lets you switch between clock, timer and alarm. The alarm itself is uses vibration instead of your ordinary beeps and whistles. I really like the concept since my favorite ringtone is the “silent mode”. The watch is coming out in three colorways, white, gray and red.

Then back to the streets of Tokyo or was it the BladeRunner? Tokyoflash has blessed us with another watch that just creams lok at me. The Kisai Traffic continues from where the Changing Lanes left off. The watch features a bright LED display that shows the time in form of roads, fly overs and cross sections.

In a typical Tokyoflash manner the watch is easy to read once you have had the watch for a moment, but others will still be left baffled on what the time actually is.
So many ways to show the time. In today’s environment there is bound to be a watch for every style and standard. So what’s your way of checking what the time is? Classic timepiece or a modern take on time display like the Mutewatch or a Tokyoflash piece? Better yet, what was the latest watch you bough or got as a gift? Let us know, we’re interested to know. Stay on time everyone, I’m out. Peace.
