Most of you might have noticed the latest update on our blog, that should all go well will soon be introduced to our main site as well. The dynamic web toolbar you can see at the bottom of the screen should add even more interaction opportunities and personally I’m pretty excited about the functionality.

Not that it’s a brand new thing. Many major companies such as Playboy, AVG and Jelly Belly use the tool o their sites. I can definitely see the reason why they do so. Wibiya gets down to basics with regards to functionality and one’s social media needs.
The concept of Wibiya is according to themselves to “boost your Blog/Website with Rich & Interactive Features”. Wibiya integrates to the essential social media channels such as YouTube, Facebook and Twitter just to name a few. What I really like about this tool is that it’s all there, in a light, functional and easily adaptable way. All you need to do is decide what features you want to add to this toolbar and bring it on your site.

Web marketing in today’s market environment is all about ease of use, sharing functions and interaction. Of course price is always important but it’s still secondary as the user interface and user experience in general is what makes the difference. Think about your personal social media behavior. What channels are you using? Where do you use them? How do you use them? Quite often it’s all about the basic human needs of sharing and belonging, in addition to of course the ever-so-important ease of use. For myself, the most used social media tools are the ones that are most intuitive and easy to use no matter where I am. But the added value from using these tools counts as well. I don’t use any of the channels just to be there, I use them for the perceived value, whether it’s marketing, keeping up with the joneses or just staying in contact with friends and family across the world

Sharing just became even easier!
It’s just a beginning with this toolbar, I’ll be testing it out once i have a spare moment. So I really wish to hear your experiences about using the toolbar and as it is in trial phase right now, your experiences count! Comment, drop a line on the Soap Box, send us email, whatever works for you! Peace, I’m out!
