Looks like wee Wii has a competitor. How well it fares will remain to be seen. I give the controllers a few extra points for being lightsaberish with that kinda weird light-up. Or you turn it around and it becomes like a pe – yeah. Let’s not continue this either.

In short, the whole thing’s like Wii. But better. While Wii has movement detection, Move tracks the controller precisely within real 3D space instead of just calculating relative movement based on a previous position like Wii does. Together with PlayStation Eye the Move can even sense depth on the Z-plane. Which is really cool too. But the techno speak is not why you’d buy one. No. Let Sony’s Kevin Butler and his friends show you why.
More extra points for the evil laughter. And the Biblical metaphors at the end. The Move is out this fall. Price TBA.
