Although the title might indicate a new hobby in ornithology, we’re not stalking birds. The Bird is the Word is a title for the Nike SB European Demo Tour of which Nike has just released a video titled Street Life. The campaign site also has another clip called Demo Life. The videos are full of what you might expect, some of the best skateboarders in the world doing what they do best, skate. As the title indicates, most of the skating action takes place on the street level among us mere mortals. I like the WTF approach Nike has taken with the tour’s title at least. The campaign is getting some buzz around the web and Nike SB delivers what we expect from them, fresh gear and good skateboarding action.
