Graff Wars

The passing of Leslie Nielsen was not the only tragedy yesterday as I also found out that the Empire Strikes Back director Irvin Kershner had passed away on 27th of November. Empire Strikes Back is probably the best of the Star Wars films so Mr. Kershner had definitely left behind a legacy of sort. On the note of Star Wars, I thought of posting info on a recent finding I made.
We’re fans of graffiti art as well as Star Wars, so what about Star Wars inspired graffiti? Definitely!

Swedish Dokument Press has pubilshed this compilation full of Star Wars inspired street art. Naturally the art pieces are full of street style mixed with inspiration absorbed from Star Wars.

Star Wars seems to inspire not just the fashion industry but artists worldwide. And why not? I’m not sure if George Lucas knew what he was creating when making the first of the films. Nonetheless, Star Wars is all around us and even the non-fanboys know what’s the deal. As more awesome art comes by we’re sure to report it.
