Naked & Famous Denim

We’ve had the privilege of working with the fine folks from Canada for a good time now, bringing in just to mention the Naked & Famous x Momotaro Jeans collaboration. I have however not mentioned much about the label or what they represent. So it’s about damn time for a small brand profile.
The Canadian Naked & Famous brand has already created a worldwide buzz for their fine materials such as rare and unique denim from Japan. The denim is woven at renowned denim mills that produce long lasting high quality denim. These jeans, just like other brands that only get better with wear and maybe a little tear. The production is a combination of modern touch and classic production methodology to produce the best garments for your use.

Naked & Famous Denim brand gets back to basics with their products. No gimmicks no fancy stuff, just great jeans and apparel with modern fits, full of details acknowledged by even the denim purists. Jeans don’t have to be all that serious, a fun, long lasting wearing experience at a reasonable cost. The brand does however combine this minimalistic thinking to innovation, producing everything from kevlar denim to super heavy oz denim. Still the products are always produced with good taste.

As the brand itself put it, “we keep all our jeans raw and simple. No washes, no embroidery, no gimmicks… just the best fabric in the world combined with modern fits. We have eliminated these costly (and in our opinion unnecessary) after-effects, and have stripped down our jeans to the core essentials. Now true denimheads and newcomers alike can enjoy these special fabrics at a reasonable price.” But what about the logo then? Naked & Famous says that their “logo is reminiscent of 1950`s Pop-Art. Early Pop-Artists depicted the “ideal blond” as a satire of mass media and mass culture, then fed it right back to them.” Not bad, not bad at all.
What’s important to note about the brand’s products, “every pair of Naked & Famous Denim jeans are proudly and ethically Made in Canada.” Just to avoid any confusion, the Momotaro Jeans collaboration however is made in Japan.
We are shortly bringing in another batch of Naked & Famous denim and from what we have gathered, people have been very happy with the Momotaro Jeans collaboration. I am sure the traditional N&F goods will get good reception among our customers as well.
