As if you would need any more reasons to tune in for the SuperBowl Sunday match up between Pittsburgh Steelers and Greenbay Packers, Marvel has hinted that first footage of the upcoming Captain America movie would be shown during its commercial break. “Marvel will have a little something extra for you to get excited about, with your first look at “Captain America: The First Avenger” and a fresh peek at “Thor” in two all-new spots! Airing during the FOX Super Bowl broadcast on Sunday, February 6, these new spots will help whet your appetite until “Thor” hits theaters on May 6 and “Captain America: The First Avenger” bursts onto the big screen on July 22.” (Marvel)

We have seen the trailers for Thor and the movie looks pretty badass. And as predicted more and more footage of Captain America will start to surface the closer we get to the blockbuster summer of 2011. Smart move from Marvel, considering this all American hero’s movie will be advertised to millions and millions of viewers, not just in the States but to everyone streaming the match online all over the world. It’s just a matter of time before we get a proper trailer too. Hopefully soon rather than late. OK Marvel?
