The year of the rabbit is not just good for business and health, but for denim as well. This morning I received an email from our friend Steven fro mRailcar Fine Goods about their latest project, 13oz selvedge Cone denim jeans for women. It’s not just introduction of Railcar for women, but offers pretty nice alternative to anyone looking for raw denim for women.

The fit is slim close to skinny but still featured chainstitched bottom hem, which I hear is tough to produce with such small hem. The selvedge is also visible on the fly and naturally hidden in the coin pocket. Vintage style. The vintage elements are also apparent with the traditional washed hole riveting and two tone stitching. The jeans will run from sizes 24 up to 30. Sizes 24-27 are available marked with P for “petite” and sizes 26-39 marked with R indicate normal sizing.

Needless to say this is very exciting as we have been in talks with Steven about their selvedge collection. Very exciting to see the first run. We are expecting further news from Railcar in the near future and will keep you posted on the process. Below you may find the “tech specs” for the jeans.
