Apple’s iOS 5 was expected to deliver and based on the keynote presentation from last night/this morning the new OS definitely seems to be stepping up a notch (again).

What’s great about the iOS 5 is that it seems to become even more interactive than before. Built in Twitter integration which enables you to pretty much tweet any content from your iPhone without separate applications just by signing in once in the settings. Just Apple’s way of making things tad bit easier. The system seems to be taking more focus on the messaging with all iOS 5 devices now able to interact with each other with unlimited number of messages sent via 3G/WiFi connection. Not a bad move. Cool thing about iPad updates is that Apple added multitouch functionalities to the iPad which makes it easier to browse between Apps
All other functionalities such as easy access to camera, notifications and to-do lists aside, Apple is taking its wire-free approach one step further with the iOS 5 becoming a basically wire-free with synching and updating available via WiFi connection. They also introduced Apple’s iCloud service which stores stores your music, photos, apps, calendars and documents for instance and synchronises these across different platforms. Wireless service with everything stored in a cloud, I can see a pattern here. I guess all the speculation about Apple’s next steps was true, now let’s just sit back and see what they come up with next.
