Think with your hands – Part 2

by on Mar.12, 2012, under Comics, Design and Artwork, Headlines

Quick follow up on my LEGO x Moleskine update. As suggested by Andrew on my previous post, I let my son Maxwell sign the book. It makes a great memorabilia item. Signed, dated and documented. Something I can share with Maxwell years from here. The book will be a “source of inspiration”. Instead of writing down meeting notes, it will serve a higher purpose with ideas for on-going and future projects. The first thing I wrote in the book was the research framework for my on-going PhD research, something I figured out today (hooray). So let’s see what’s next. But no matter what details the books pages will hold, the first two pages are and will be Maxwell’s. Well done son!

Nice. Indeed well done, good job Maxwell.
Can say,Maxwell has exhibited steady firm hand with the distinct line, then the fluidity with the curvacious lines.
PhD research..when we have the opportunity to address you as Dr?

Then later, when Maxwell gets his first Lego set, using the blocks, let him trace the shape of blocks, then put together the blocks to resemble objects, then let him color it..save all those coloring books.

Cheers Andrew! Maxwell has a pair of steady, strong hands. and perhaps some artistic skill as well. Haha, my research has progressed to definition of my research framework. I have written 1.5 chapters and have 1.5 more to finish in the next few months. Part time research is not an easy feat with full time business, other projects and family. It’s all good though…
Hope to get Maxwell his first LEGO set ASAP. Maybe have to start with DUBLO blocks, although Maxwell is a clever boy, I dobt he would eat any blocks.
