Dear fans and friends, we’ve had a great year thus far with plenty of new acquaintances from across the globe. We keep the same global mindset we’ve had since the beginning and are not in plans to change that. However last year and this has also resulted in some rather unpleasant cases where certain individuals have attempted to purchase goods from our store using stolen credit cards/details. We are not the only business that has faced such cases and other businesses we know have also been subject to such attempts. We have been fortunate enough not to lose products to such criminal activity where as others have not been so lucky.
The interesting thing about these issues is that all of the cases we’ve identified have come from Indonesia (namely Bandung, West Java) and Kelantan, Malaysia. Where as we do not mean to generalize these regions to frauds we do have to take action against attempts from the immoral individuals whom wish to buy goods with other people’s money. Many stores have seized all shipments to these areas but since we have plenty of friends and customers in the region we do not wish to stop our shipment.
However, (now to the new policies) “due to high number of attempted credit card fraud cases from Indonesia and Kelantan, Malaysia we need additional evidence of a rightful order with all orders from these regions. As a precaution we will send a confirmation to the respective email address attached to the order/payment. If we do not receive a reply and requested details within 24 hours we reserve the right to refund the payment and cancel the order.” Note that suspicious cases will be reported.
We are sorry for any inconvenience caused for our revised policies and it is sad that actions of few individuals may create barriers for decent people in the same region.
