We’ve officially launched the full details of the Jäger by Northern Denim Co. luggage.
The Jäger is the first line of hand made leather luggage by Northern Denim Co. brand. The bag is made of Horween Natural Essex leather, giving the bag a beautiful natural leather color. The luggage price starts from 680 euros (excluding shipping) and as with every other project from the Northern Denim Co., portion of the profits go to charity. The bag is produced in limited numbers and sold on first come first served basis. To order yours contact email@example.com.
We received a much anticipated parcel few days ago. Express mail straight from the Obbi Good Label, the craftsmen behind our latest design The Jäger by Northern Denim Co..
Production for the latest Northern Denim Co. project has kicked off or at least the production for the first leather luggage collection titled “jäger” produced by the artisans of Obbi Good Label. The duffel bag inspired by vintage Finnish leather luggage I inherited (read: claimed mine). The Natural Essex Horween leather looks amazing as does the brass hardware.
With the ever-changing algorithm changes and crude monetization of Facebook, the platform though formidable with its mass is no longer deemed suitable as our Nordic Denim House and especially Northern Denim Co. brands’ social media center of attention. As we are moving closer to “Facebook Zero” moment which means our postings will have ZERO organic reach, it is just viable to look beyond this platform as means to communicate. Just the thought that we would have to promote every posting to reach a handful of people is against the way we operate. We have not advertised our products or brands beyond our content published on social media and spread organically. Aside from few promoted postings, KOL collaborations and one print ad in the Heritage Post, which also was more of a content publication and not advert per se. But enough of that. The bottom line is, if you are on LinkedIn, FOLLOW US!
You can Find us by just searching Nordic Denim House on LinkedIn.
You can also FOLLOW our Northern Denim Co. project from on our Showcase Page.
It will be interesting experimenting on the “new” platform but more will follow so stay tuned.
Happy Labor Day everyone. Our doors are closed for the rest of the week due to the Labor Day holidays. Since the May 1st is conveniently on Thursday, we are taking rest of the week off to celebrate some family matters. That is the birthday of the First Lady of NDH.
It’s been like the best Valentine’s Day ever. Little present to Jeci Chao, picked up the kids from nanny early. Came home, fixed a proper dinner and spending rest of the evening sipping champagne and chilling with the family celebrating life. Glass of Hennessy, another glass of Taittinger and we’re all good. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone. It’s not about the material gifts, but the company of your loved ones. Be easy everyone. I’ll continue watching cartoons with my boy. Peace.
Don’t forget to suit up for your big date! #suitup
We would like to wish everyone a prosperous and happy Chinese New Year! Let the year of the horse bring along health and wealth to all of our friends and family.
Imagine that one of the first signs of your success is that fakes of your products start to surface. It’s a scary thought, I know. For a while now I have gotten reports of FAKE MOMOTARO JEANS surfacing in Malaysia and across SE-Asia. These fake Momotaro Jeans are of poor quality, non-selvedge and made in China. There are also number of unauthorized retailers surfacing in Malaysia. Though there are legit, official Momotaro Jeans carrying stores like Kronoz and Zolo Collection in Malaysia, there are also seemingly more and more stores selling “momotaro jeans” for fraction of the cost. Obviously these are fakes. John from Kronoz has been doing a good job reporting these incidents to Momotaro’s guys in Japan. Though it’s difficult to take action against these store, I find it concerning that there are these “mystery stores” popping up on my news feed on Facebook. Some of these stores have growing following as well. It happened to Evisu, and as mentioned happens to any brand gaining popularity. Though I won’t go into detail in sharing the name of the latest store seemingly carrying fake jeans, I will post a pic of what they are selling.
