For the Lot 3010 Northern Denim Co. jeans, we produced few pairs of ladies’ version of the jeans with same fabric and adjusted features to suit the jeans to our customers. Due to the high demand of the ladies’ Lot 3010 jeans, we decided to produce an exclusive batch of ladies’ jeans for the Lot 750x as well. The jeans are slightly slimmer than the Lot 3010 ladies’ cut, but still comfortable. The jeans are produced of the same 14.7oz raw, natural indigo denim as the men’s jeans and the silhouette is slim straight. The ladies’ jeans feature a zipper fly which aside from the adjusted cut is the main difference between the men’s and ladies’ jeans. The zipper fly was a last minute adjustment to the jeans. But this detail does not sacrifice the built quality. The Lot 750x jeans for ladies are as rugged and rigid as those produced for the male audience. The ladies’ jeans are available in sizes 26 to 30 and for more details, feel free to contact us. Stay tuned for more updates.
We finally got updates in form of pictures from Japan on the production of the coveted Northern Denim Co. Lot 750x Matsuzaka Ai Natural Indigo jeans. It’s always exciting to see pics of the jeans’ production. So imagine when it’s your own brand being produced according to your specifications, details and instructions. The amount of pictures is more than I expected and I am positively surprised with the co-operation of the guys at Rampuya for sending us the pics. Just so you know, getting production pictures and getting a chance to share them can be tough. The production processes and the guidelines regarding the production are rather well guarded so I take this as a privilege. So enjoy the first set of production pics of Lot 750x Northern Denim Co. jeans. More will follow!
No fancy costume parties this year and no horror either. But still wishing y’all Happy Halloween!
Story about priorities. Left work as early as I could. Got home, and had an eager little boy waiting for me at home. The moment he heard me opening the door, he shouted: “daddy, daddy, it’s Cap America cake. It’s Cap America cake. I saw it. I saw it. Come quick.” Pulled me to the room, where Jeci Chao had hidden the cake. His eyes were as bright as a three year old’s eyes can be as he asked me to get the cake for him.
It’s been a very demanding month or two at the Nordic Denim House. It’s business as usual but my business partner (in crime) and myself have been going through conversations regarding the near and distant future of the business.
It’s been a long time coming, but we’re officially taking few weeks off. Yes, The Nordic Denim House will close its doors, windows and order processing until 29th of August. Yes, that’s over 2 weeks! We’ve been open for business nearly every day for the past 5 years and though we have had holidays, these breaks have not been more than few days. But now we’re taking a bit time off. Even we need a break. My partner in crime Pekka is on his way to New York, I am heading to a pool party in Kuala Lumpur and the Finnish office is closed at the moment. Fear not, I still read and reply emails but all orders are only processed once our operations lead is back from his American tour. Have a great weekend everyone. I know we will!
First off, a shout out to Kronoz Shop, John and the Kronoz crew. The store is finally ready to open in Kuala Lumpur at Fahrenheit 88. It’s been long time coming but Kronoz is finally ready to provide the denim heads in Malaysia premium Japanese denim.
I met up John for a quick lunch and a visit at the store yesterday.
It’s only two days till the opening of Kronoz Shop in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It’s quite exciting to see the bricks and mortar store opening up for business. Based on Kronoz’ Facebook Page, there seems to be a good buzz going on already. We received a mystery picture from John regarding final details of the shop at Fahrenheit 88 at KL. The opening is on the 1st of August and we’ll be sure to post up more details upon the opening of the store. Shout out to the Kronoz crew, last stretch before the launch guys, keep it up!
I gave a shout out to Kronoz the oter day on our FB Page. We’ve been following Kronoz Shop’s developments since last year when I first met up with the owner John whom I have been mentoring in the ins and outs of the denim industry. Kronoz Shop is reaching another milestone with the opening of their first bricks and mortar store’s opening.
It’s that time of the year again. Finland is shutting down with majority of people escaping to countryside and enjoying a drink or two (or more). Once again half of the NDH crew (myself included) is out if Finland but hey. I can still have a drink. After all, Juhannus/ Midsummer is a joyous occasion. So no beer just a shot of Patrón, Hennessy or Cîroc. Happy midsummer y’all!
P.S. we’re on holiday together with the rest of the country. All orders ship out after the bank holidays. That is early next week.
