Baseball

by Taavi Kuisma on Aug.11, 2010, under Headlines, Social Media & Advertising, Sports

I like baseball, although the sport is not big in Finland I can appreciate the sport for the hand-eye coordination and skill it takes to master the sport. Also you tend to see some awesome stuff in baseball games, just like with any great sports. Take for instance the fantastic catch by Masato Akamatsu of the Hiroshima Toyo Carp. The dude clims the wall like Spiderman and eliminates Shuichi Murata’s chances for a homerun. Even if you’re not a fan of baseball or Spiderman, you got to hand it to the guy, the catch was amazing.

RZA meets Nike 6.0

by Taavi Kuisma on Jul.28, 2010, under Entertainment, Headlines, Social Media & Advertising, Sports

Good morning World!

The world has been mine for the taking the entire morning, it’s just that I couldn’t get out of bed. I guess the last few days have been somewhat tough since I slept like 9 hours non-stop and still had trouble getting out of bed. But that’s cool. It only happens every now and then, and hey at least I’m up and on my feet.

Louis Vuitton – The Art of Travel – Part 2

by Taavi Kuisma on Jul.13, 2010, under Accessories & Luggage, Headlines, Sports

Bonjour!

So, I just posted the Copper Label status update and I’m back again. You know this happens to me ever so often. I am about to go and just relax and then, BOOM something hits my eyes that I feel as if I just have to share with you all. Just yesterday I posted more pictures of the FIFA World Cup Trophy and the Louis Vuitton carrying case. Well I just bumped into a video from ilvoelv which is about making of this special piece of luggage. I have to apologize in before hand if the YouTube video is not available in your region. If this is the case, try to google the title below.

Sports Edition – Paul and LeBron

by Taavi Kuisma on Jul.08, 2010, under Headlines, Sports

What’s good folks?

Last night’s match sure wasn’t. It was like Germany was under a spell. This got me thinking, could it be that Paul the almighty Octopus had a psychic control over the German team. Is it that his powers are like those of a Jedi? Just a little background on Paul, “Paul the octopus, who lives at the Sea Life Aquarium in western Germany, makes his prediction by picking food from containers marked with the flags of the two teams.Paul’s only inaccurate pick so far was when it picked Germany over Spain at the Euro in 2008. Spain won 1-0 in that tournament, but he has never been wrong since and has an overall record of 9-1.” (Reuters)

Los Angeles Lakers 2010 NBA Champions

by Taavi Kuisma on Jun.18, 2010, under Headlines, Sports

What’s good?

NBA Championship, that’s what’s good! Los Angeles Lakers did their thing and took home the trophy beating Celtics 79-83. Much respect to Celtics for putting up one hell of a fight, but in the end there can be only one champion! This year it’s LA Lakers who won their first back to back championship since their last run in 2002.

World Cup and Kicks, kicks, kicks

by Taavi Kuisma on Jun.14, 2010, under Fashion and style, Headlines, Kicks, Sports

Good day to you and yours!

Another fresh week has kick-started and life’s good. Thanks to the “fresh” (as in cold) weather out there my allergy’s almost gone and I can enjoy my life again. So to all you frowning about the weather I wouldn’t mind if the month ahead was like this. Choy! Touch wood! Well we’ll see.

The Dynasty Continues

by Taavi Kuisma on Jun.07, 2010, under Fashion and style, Headlines, Sports

Greetings!

You know I’m a bit bummed about Lakers losing to the Celtics last night. I mean it was only 103-94, 9 point game but loss is a loss. The teams are now heading to Boston to continue the series. Lakers better pick their game up and not rely “too much” on Kobe alone. If Lakers are playing like they played in the first game of the Finals, it’s all good. Well fair enough Boston was the better team last night. Few days back I posted a little something on UNDFTD’s finals T and chucks. Now UNDFTS’s message to the world was “You can’s beat LA”, while I do convene to these words I still feel it’s good to post a little something for the other side as well. You know, it’s all in the balance.

You can’t beat LA

by Taavi Kuisma on Jun.05, 2010, under Fashion and style, Headlines, Sports

What’s good?

I’ve recovered from yesterday’s 24 h NBA Finals, Work, Concert combination and I will write a little more about the latter later today (or possibly tomorrow). Well then For now I have a little edition called “You can’t beat LA”. As the title inclines it does have a little something to do with the LA Lakers. A message directed to the Boston Celtics. The message is actually portrayed on a new line of limited edition shirts and Converse Chuck Taylor high tops with this title. The shirts are only available at UNDFTD stores and not online. Every shirt purchased entitles for a raffle ticket for a chance to win the Chucks. I posted a little something like this last year around the finals and knowing UNDFTD’s Laker fan mentality I knew they were cooking up something. Good look. For more pictures you can check out udftd.com.

NBA Finals – Kicks edition

by Taavi Kuisma on Jun.03, 2010, under Headlines, Kicks, Sports

Greetings earthlings!

The NBA finals are tipping off tonight and yours truly is feeling like a kid before Christmas. I would very much like to watch every single game, but then again I think I would not be able to cope with my daily duties if I did. Well, there are always reruns, summaries and results. But that’s not the same, damn it as I write this I am starting to feel like watching the damn finals. I MUST! GO LAKERS!
