We’re keeping busy…
Episode I: The Trap
Sometimes there’s just not enough time for everything and everyone. As of past few days our beloved blog has been one of the victims of too much s**t to do with way too few hours in a day. So on days like these it would be great to have a “replacer”, clone or any individual who could actually help out in being there to do the stuff you just don’t have the time to do.
On that note I bring to you The Replacer. A clever ad for Activision’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Revolution DLC pack that gives you more maps, more gats and a chance to play as a zombie. Clever insight to the ad is of course the fact that most people would just like to skip their day-to-day responsibilities and dedicate a day or two (or an entire week) to COD. Been there, done that… So I can appreciate Peter Stormare’s character and his purpose. That and the ad is pretty hilarious. Salute!
This looks promising. Something for the fans of LEGO mashup games, and fans of Marvel comics. Marvel just announced “LEGO Marvel Super Heroes” to be launched next year across different game consoles.
Forget the other 2012 (end of the world) nonsense. Join Dikembe Mutombo in this ultimate epic awesomeness that is Old Spice’s campaign to save the world. Not wasting any time in writing. PLAY THE GAME. SAVE THE WORLD.
I love LEGOs and so do children and adults alike across the world. I just like many others have been playing with LEGO blocks my entire life but the story behind the famous blocks is still unknown to the general public. To fix this and in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the toy brand LEGO has published an animated short film that tells the story behind the blocks. Enjoy, this video is a nice one.
Okay so we might have not gotten over the whole superhero hype just yet. I wanted to post this awesome clip already some time back but only managed to get a working YouTube clip now. Awesome stop motion animation featuring the Dark Knight, Batman and his arch villain the Joker. The stop motion film created by Hong Kong-based directors Derek Kwok and Henri Wong is a pretty impressive piece of work. The figures used in the film are all by Hot Toys, the company behind some of the most realistic “action figures” out there.
Now this is something you don’t see every day. Imagine life-sized LEGO forest in your backyard. Well LEGO did something like that in celebration of the brand’s “50 years in australia with an array of installations across the country, with the most recent set up in the rural town of broken hill, new south wales. residents of the outback locale were surprised to wake up to a life-size forest made up of 15 four-meter high pine trees and flower sets recreated to a 1:1 ratio of the original pieces, and then supersized to be 66 times bigger.” (designboom)
This is just too great not to be shared. If you like Inception (the movie) and LEGO, you’ll love this. Described as “an academic team project, spanning 12 weeks, representing approx 1000 hours work, this is nothing less than a masterpiece. Salute…
Such a hectic day (or past three days), doing my best to deliver (like a mid-wife) in all of my projects while hoping to find a moment or two to just chill and maybe spend some time with video games. On that note, I am feeling nostalgic and happened to come across this pretty cool video that’s pretty much a brief history of video games. So much awesomeness and games I grew up playing. Enjoy…
This is dope. I remember posting about this mastermind collaboration before. Or it could have been another mastermind Japan One Piece collab but that does not make this any less cool. mastermind Japan and Real McCOY collaboration desktop collectible based on the popular One Piece Manga/Anime. This is why I love mastermind Japan brand. The brand does not limit itself for any particular genre in terms of collaborations. One moment they might have a dope suitcase produced with Globetrotter and such collectible desktop article the next. The price for the item is YEN 18,900 and you can cop one from ZOZOVILLA.
