This week will be pretty much full of superhero madness on the blog. Reason being the release of the Dark Knight Rises on Thursday which I will be checking, pronto! Being that everyone is going pretty much bat-ish crazy right now, it’s not a surprise that plenty of Batman related material starts floating on the web. There are cars and then there are super cars. The latter probably cost you a million but will give you the bragging rights as you will be one of the selected few who own such a car. Sorry, I mean super car. Bugatti’s one of the brands that has claimed status by producing some of the rarest, unique cars on earth. And their concept for Bugatti 16C Galibier falls not behind in that sense. It’s pretty much the car I would buy if I had that extra million. They say god is in details and so seems to be the team behind this vehicle. I mean the dashboard time piece can be just picked up and worn as a watch. Those details set the car apart. In addition to the actual specs. No matter what, the video is worth a check.

Now this here is luxury on another level. How do you improve something as classic and established as the Rolls Royce Phantom? The brand recently launched the new Phantom Series II at the Geneva Motor Show. And as Rolls Royce put it, the car features “improvements to the drive-train, ease-of-use and connectivity, the models are also the first production cars to feature full LED headlamps as standard — proving the maxim of founder Sir Henry Royce that you should strive to “take the best that exists and make it better”.”

From the freezing Arctic Circle to the hot climates of South Africa, the teams of engineers go through rounds of testing to ensure the cars are prepared for anything a driver might come across with. Some time back I wrote about the FT-86 concept or “ToyoBaru” as it was also called. The reborn hachi roku (AE-86 Trueno famous from Initial D) is finally seeing daylight across the globe. I am sure the car will raise mixed feelings in terms of design though I think it’s a pretty awesome looking car. It’s not just the looks but the car packs 197 horsepower engine powered by Subaru’s 2.0 liter boxer engine. Yes, a Subaru engine in Toyota car. AE-86 is a classic and as awesome as it ever was but perhaps GT-86 can step up to become the hachi roku of the 21st century. One thing is for sure, Toyota and any agency working in promotion of this ride better start watching Initial D now.
