by Taavi Kuisma on May.18, 2012, under Comics, Design and Artwork, Entertainment, Headlines
It looks like season 4 of the cult cartoon The Boondocks is just behind the corner. Pretty awesome surprise. Not just for myself but all the Boondocks fans out there. Let’s see which characters we’ll see returning this time around. Perhaps Thugnificent makes a comeback. From rags to bitches. Back to rags and then back to bitches or should it be riches? Let’s wait and see.

Shout out to MH for posting this on FB earlier today. I’m a huge fan of RZA aka Bobby Digital but I have to admit I have not seen this particular clip of Bobby Digital cartoon. Bobby Digital lays down some realities of life, the system and how you need to keep your eyes open because they’re watching. Awesome stuff.
The Adventures of Tintin

I remember reading all the Tintin comics by Hergé and watching the cartoons as a kid. That said I am happy to see “Hollywood” resurrecting this cool character and the entire world of Tintin. Movie masterminds Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson are behind the upcoming 3D/CGI movie featuring the beloved character solving the “Secret of the Unicorn.” Unicorn which in this context is referring to a ship. The movie apparently mixes few different story lines of Tintin so it’ll be interesting to see how it cooks up. The movie features Daniel Craig, Simon Pegg, Jamie Bell and Andy Serkis to name just few talents. The trailer looks cool and I can’t wait to see the flick.

The movie starring Andrew Garfield as the web head has created some buzz around the web mainly because the movie’s rebooting the entire franchise. There are some differences for sure, but Marvel has been gracious enough to give us a look at how this iconic superhero will look like in the movie. And here you go.
The LeBrons
by Taavi Kuisma on Jan.19, 2011, under Entertainment, Headlines, Sports
Nike did their thing with a number of great ads featuring LeBron James, one of the most popular ones bein “the LeBrons”. The ads featured LeBron James’ different alter egos such as Kid LeBron, Wise LeBron, Athelete LeBron and Business LeBron. Now this ad concept is made into a animated series featuring the “beloved characters” as well as some support cast. The series will be exclusive to LeBron’s YouTube channels and his website. It will be interesting to see what they cook up with the series, but I’m sure it won’t hurt. What do you think about the concept? In case you got an opinion let us know.
Seth MacFarlane x Nike LeBron VIII

Family Guy’s creator Set MacFarlane recently created something that should definitely appeal to every sneaker head out there, not to mention the fans of his artwork. The Nike LeBron VIII sneaker is featured as part of MacFarlane’s Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy series, and kind of visualizes “what if the shoe wore the player and not the other way around?” Hilarious clip.
