There’s a myriad of reasons to unfriend people on Facebook. The most obvious one being that they’re not really your friends. Then come the ones you’ve hooked up with and never want to hear from again (a little tip: don’t friend them on Facebook); the ones whose supposedly brilliant lives clog your news feed and fill you with more or less pity for their cry for attention; the unwanted relatives, colleagues and managers; the list goes on.

So who’s on Ping? I only got myself enrolled to the latest social media network courtesy of Apple. I am still just getting around Ping and its musical world of wonders. Not that I’m a rookie to iTunes or anything but I’m still just getting around the whole functionality and actual usage of the service. The other thing is that I’ve only managed to find one of my friends from the entire service. Yeah, I follow Diddy and U2, but that’s about it. It would seem that even majority of the artists have not found their way to Ping yet. Within here lies the problem. Will these artists and masses adopt the service and make their own? It was not long ago that I was still finding messages on Facebook from people finding it difficult to adapt to the world of Facebook after abandoning Myspace.

What’s good?

#summertime is the hash tag of the day. Firstly because it is summer, second because it’s still warmer than it has been in ages (in Finland that is). So many people are not feeling the heat (not Miami) and most even complain about it. I say, all you need is a positive attitude good deodorant and most importantly some Old Spice Body Wash with 24 h body odor blocking POWER!

I’m still feeling a bit under the weather with the allergy season in full bloom. To think I’m actually happy that it’s raining cats and dogs out there. Well it cleans up the air for a moment but then again once the rain stops then we the allergy symptoms will get even worse (touch wood).

HI Y’all,

I am a social media addict. There, I said it. I’m addicted to my crackberry (I know iPhone is not a Blackberry), my Facebook and my twitter account and all sorts of forums out there on the web. I mean ever since the first time I got myself an MSN account I was hooked. I get most of my daily news through some sort of social/ digital media. The innovations like Apple’s iPad take leaps forward making online magazine/news/book reading even more mobile and convenient. I know I’m a lost cause but I still appreciate a concrete magazine every now and then, latest magazine I was reading was the Workwear magazine. That opus actually contains plenty of details not all so available online. Or maybe I’m just not searching the information in Japanese. But Have you noticed that magazines and newspapers are becoming increasingly slimmer? The companies are transferring their marketing to different media, often online. When was the last time you read a newspaper?
