Greetings earthlings. May Day (vappu) is almost here and we’re taking a head start to the holiday by taking a little road trip. We’re taking off from KL and heading to the beautiful island of Penang. My associates in Finland are also getting ready for Wednesday’s public holiday but we are still trying to ship all orders placed tomorrow before the day off.

I am still reading my emails but in case there is a slight delay in response, please forgive me. It is a family trip and the priority is on the fam. There will also be some work involved as we are planning to snap few fit pics and beauty shots of the Northern Denim Co. Lot 750x. We’re getting closer to the launch of the jeans and so stay tuned as I post more details from along the way.

Taking a day off from our regular Friday schedule and going camping. I have been told this will be easy camping trip with a proper bed to sleep in. But I will nonetheless be stuck in the jungle for a day. Sitting in a buss already and will not have Internet connection from now on so your emails will be returned tomorrow. It’s time to bid farewell to 2012 and kick off year 2013. It has been an eventful year which I still need to recap but now we are off to rush to the airport and will spend New Year’s Eve mid-air on our way to sunny Malaysia. A yearly tradition… We will be back in action on the 2nd of January. All orders and inquires will be attended to as soon as possible. So happy new year everyone and thank you for the year 2012!

It’s crazy how fast the time flies. It’s Christmas already! What Christmas brings of course is the Finnish holidays. Similar to past years, Finland goes into holiday mode starting from today. That means the postal services are not operating as per usual and our crew is stepping down to take few days off as well. That said, due to the holidays all orders placed between 21st and 27th of December will be only shipped out after the 27th due to limited postal operating hours next week. Happy Midsummer or hyvää juhannusta as they would say in Finland. Our good old Finland is ing into holiday mode, cities get empty and folks pack their backs to move to country side. Yes, the annual semi compulsory drink-feat which we also call midsummer is here. As today has already been a national holiday the shipment of goods ordered since yesterday all the way to Sunday will only be shipped on Monday. So our crew also takes an initiative to chill a bit. So I’ll have a local beverage to toast juhannus and will then get some shut eye. Not so busy day ahead so be easy y’all. We’ll be back in no time…

No Holiday No Life! Oh, and happy 4th of July! The summer season has reached Finland along with really nice weathers. Although the crew in Malaysia is working as per usual (no summer breaks) our Finnish crew will be on holiday until Thursday 7th of July. We are accepting orders and replying emails during this time, but all orders made between Monday and Thursday will be shipped out on Friday.
