While back we posted some sneak peeks of the latest KIKS TYO tees to hit our shelves. Summer is T-shirt time without a doubt. For some regions (like Finland) it’s pretty much these few months when you can go out in your tees without covering the shirt with at least one layer of clothing. When it comes to KIKS TYO tees, these shirt were made to turn heads and as a friend of mine put it, the shirts turn heads like a chiropractic. Spring is well under way and it has been a minute since our last batch of fresh tees. With everything happening in Japan and changes within our own organization (expansion to Malaysia) we’ve had a bit longer wait with some of the new product releases. Well all in good time and not it’s about damn time to introduce some newcomers. Few days back we received a batch of new tees from Tokyo and below a sneak preview of what’s to come. KIKS TYO has announced something fresh and new for the season. Something never available before this. This time around collectors have a chance to get hold of a signed KIKS TYO Sneakers and Girls tee. You do have to be lucky to get one though, there are only 6 signed bags 3 for Aya Kiguchi’s Skunk Tee and 3 for Kana Tsugihara’s Easter.

So Easter is only few months away and just when you’re trying to get over Valentine’s Day and products certain brands drop in celebration of these international days of celebration, they drop another bomb. This year Valentine’s day brought us something special from KIKS TYO. Just in time for Chap Goh Meh the 15th day of Chinese New Year (Chinese Valentine’s Day which was yesterday, delayed post) we’ve gotten in a fresh batch of tees from Tokyo. So what’s the connection with Valentine’s Day? Well one of the new tees is actually titled Valentine and features Aya Kiguchi in all red. The KIKS TYO signature is even topped with a kiss from the gravure idol. The tee is available in selected sizes and moving fast.

It has not been too long since last time we drubbed the bomb on KIKS TYO’s upcoming sneaker & girl releases. Well now that the SS2011 season is officially under way it’s just that these bombs are drubbed more frequently. It goes without saying that two of the most popular sneaker girls of the recent past have been Aya Kiguchi and Kana Tsugihara. So it’s just fitting that these two ladies get the first releases (and pretty much rule the entire season).

It’s New Year’s Eve, although I still have tons to do before I can pop a bottle of champagne and celebrate the changing year with the family. The last jeans batch of the year has been shipped out but it’s also nice to receive parcels considering how many we shipe out every week. The year ended with a parcel from Naked & Famous of which the re-stock of Momotaro Jeans collaboration were shipped out already today. If you still want to get these jeans I recommend contacting us and we can check the stock situation in Canada. It could very well be that we can order the jeans for you. The next big collaboration is just months ahead as we’re expecting the KIKS TYO x Momotaro Jeans collaboration to land in Nordic Denim House in February/March.
