We’ve landed some new KIKS TYO tees for the Autumn. A nice little parcel recently dropped to our local postal office from where we picked up some of the latest KIKS TYO tees. Below few teaser pics of the newcomers. More details coming soon along with more teasers of upcoming tees!

KIKS TYO x Mai Nishida – Red Chucks

Like my friend put it, KIKS turns heads like a chiropractic. I totally agree with him and KIKS TYO is making sure that those heads keep turning this Summer as well. Their latest Sneaker & Girl feature model is the lovely Mai Nishida. This gravure idol or should I say sensation adds to the impressive catalog of snekaer girls featured on KIKS’ tees in the past few years. You can check out Ms. Nishida behind the scenes of KIKS TYO photoshoot.

The design in the video has been a hot item and topic of conversation in the past few weeks. In the latest collaboration tee Mai Nishida is featured “with a pair of Damien Hirst x Converse (PRODUCT) RED Chuck Taylor Hi’s. The butterfly motif is inspired by the shoes, which feature Hirst’s 2007 “All You Need Is Love” print, which sold at the Sotheby’s (RED)™ auction in 2008 for $2,420,000.00 in support of The Global Fund to help eliminate AIDS in Africa.” (KIKS TYO)

Japan Spirits

Following the release of their KIKS JP – Hope tee, KIKS TYO continues their line-up for the summer with Japan Spirits series of T-Shirts that features classic Japanese artwork. I really like the idea of mixing the KIKS TYO motif with prints that represent the history and culture of Japan. SO now you also have a chance to represent the Spirit of Japan in the form of pretty cool tees. Not that you can’t represent in the other KIKS TYO tees as well.

Bunny Aya

The year of the Rabbit is well underway and the year has at least started relatively prosperously. Not just on business front but I would rather say on all fronts. Life’s good and only going to get better. In celebration of the new Lunar Year KIKS TYO has teamed up with the ever-so-lovely Aya Kiguchi for a limited edition (only 100 produced) year of the Bunny tee or Bunny aya, either way you wanna call it. We call it Bunny Aya. You might remember a post on a KIKS TYO poster with the same image. Awesome to say the least. The shirt should ship at the end of March and is priced at 65 euros. Aya Kiguchi Posterized

It’s Thursday, one a day that will sooner or later turn into Friday, a day loved and cherished by so many. For me it’s all good no matter what the day. But if you are feeling a bit anxious and want to get past the daily routines and turn into weekend mode, chill. In case this is not your day I have something to cheer you up. Our friends at KIKS TYO just dropped another bomb on their Tumblr, a very… very nice poster featuring Aya Kiguchi, a pair of Jordans and well, bunny ears. No word on whether this is one of a kind poster or whether these will be on sale, but we will keep you posted, you can count on that.

Signatures for KIKS TYO collectors

KIKS TYO has announced something fresh and new for the season. Something never available before this. This time around collectors have a chance to get hold of a signed KIKS TYO Sneakers and Girls tee. You do have to be lucky to get one though, there are only 6 signed bags 3 for Aya Kiguchi’s Skunk Tee and 3 for Kana Tsugihara’s Easter.

I know some folks who could and should be interested of such and opportunity and my best advice is to head to KIKS TYO’s Blog for details, terms and conditions for your chance to win a signature tee from Aya Kiguchi or Kana Tsugihara. Stay tuned for updates on the shirts and KIKS TYO in general.

KIKS TYO x MOMOTARO plus much more

Saturday’s are good days to update stuff. One such update is the addition of KIKS TYO x MOMOTARO JEANS collaboration as well as fresh T-shirts featuring Aya Kiguchi and Kana Tsugihara. The jeans and shirts are available in limited numbers and go on first come first served basis. The jeans are already flying off the shelves with only few pairs left. So get them while they’re hot!

Easter x Kana Tsugihara

So Easter is only few months away and just when you’re trying to get over Valentine’s Day and products certain brands drop in celebration of these international days of celebration, they drop another bomb. I have been tempted to post this particular pic and design already earlier but have controlled myself to extremes and only post a pic of an upcoming tee that’s perhaps even more awesome than the previous ones.

This particular tee features none-other than Kana Tsugihara in a pair of Easter AF1′s. Oh and if you were wondering what brand I’m talking about, well KIKS TYO of course. This tee is available for pre-orders and in case you’re interested, feel free to drop us a line. Year of the Rabbit, Easter eggs, do the math. Crazy year and only getting better. I mean does a tee get much hotter than this?

Valentine’s Day

This year Valentine’s day brought us something special from KIKS TYO. Just in time for Chap Goh Meh the 15th day of Chinese New Year (Chinese Valentine’s Day which was yesterday, delayed post) we’ve gotten in a fresh batch of tees from Tokyo. So what’s the connection with Valentine’s Day? Well one of the new tees is actually titled Valentine and features Aya Kiguchi in all red. The KIKS TYO signature is even topped with a kiss from the gravure idol. The tee is available in selected sizes and moving fast.

The other newcomer is the KIKS TYO x Kana Tsugihara “Weapons” tee. The tee pays homage to a classic Hip Hop album cover from Ice-T. This time the picture does not feature Ice-T’s then wife Darlene but Ms. Tsugihara instead. The shirt features high quality print on the front but also backside. This, just like all of the KIKS TYO shirts is a limited edition piece and available in limited numbers. Special delivery – KIKS TYO x Momotaro Jeans

This afternoon we received a parcel we have been long waiting for. KIKS TYO x MOMOTARO JEANS delivery straight from Tokyo, Japan. The coveted jeans made their way pretty fast to our hands although the local postal services tried to slow things down. More of this on Project Wear and Tear later today. Below few sneak preview pics for now straight from my iPhone. More detailed pictures will follow along with our review of the jeans tomorrow. Stay tuned for more!
