Today I want to share something special with you and yours. A denim project of different sort. A documentary about a topic very close to our hearts, jeans. Faded Blue Planet is a documentary by film maker Thierry Aguila, a dedication to perhaps best pants in the world, your jeans. Everybody has their denim stories, their first ever pair of jeans, the best pair of jeans or jeans that you wore during a special event.

Magical Monday. It’s over 8pm and it’s still sunny. God I love the Spring season. I don’t even mind that it’s raining every now and then since at least it’s warm.
Today I thought of publishing the third installment of Momotaro Jeans – Made in Japan. The previous two editions got us to the point where we have the fabric and this is where the tailors come in.

Lovely but busy day behind us. But I guess I’m seldom that busy that I would neglect my beloved blog. Writing is a form of therapy you know. Today’s a good day to continue on the topic of Momotaro Jeans – Made in Japan. The Part 2 is about the next stage of production, the looms. Once the yarn is spun and dyed it’s time to weave the denim.

What a long and gloomy Saturday. Not used to days like this. Rain, rain and more rain. The positive thing is that much of the snow has melted away. But when the snow melts, only thing that remains is the dirt. And believe you me, there’s a lot of it.
