Another video clip that needs no long introductions. Seems that Iron Man 3 is not the only movie ensuring epic blockbuster summer. The latest trailer for the Man of Steel showcases a new type of Superman movie. An origin story with a certain darkness to it. A story of a conflicted Superman who tries to find his place in our world. I could go on and on… there are so many elements set to make this a great movie. It could very well be the Batman Begins of the Superman series. Whether you’re a fan of the franchise or just like superhero movies this one’s bound to be good.

Audi (namely the Audi R8)has been the “chosen car brand” of Tony Stark aka the Iron Man for few movies already. Riding on the hype of the upcoming Iron Man 3, Audi has launched a co-branded campaign that gives the fans a chance to choose how the story goes. Steer the Story is latest in line of crowd sourced campaigns, that allows fans to have a say in the end-result. As a comic book fan, I approve this campaign.

Seems that Logan is looking for a “cure” to his immortality and an old friend might just be able to offer that. The movie looks pretty badass at least based on the trailer. Talk about “trailerception”… The Wolverine is definitely one of this year’s most anticipated movies and rightfully so. After all the movie is based on Frank Miller’s and Chris Claremont’s comic book(s) in which the mutant hero finds himself in Japan fighting off ninjas, the Yakuza and the Silver Samurai himself. The comics are among my favorites so I’m definitely hyped about this. The comic book community has been patiently and not so patiently waiting for the trailer for the movie and now we are only 2 days away. To tease the fans the good folks behind the movie have released a mini teaser trailer in form of Vine video you can view by clicking the image below.

Batman, the world’s greatest detective has had a far bigger impact on people’s lives than probably even the creators of the legendary superhero could have fathomed. The character in his complexity has inspired some, brought courage into lives of those in the need of it and has become a superhero almost every little boy aspires to be. A documentary film project by Brett Culp exploring the power of heroic stories & the inspirational impact of Batman, was put up on kickstarter to gather funds for the feature film. Funds which the project collected in only 48 hours. Epic… Epic like the character himself. A man without superpowers but whose dedication and intelligence (not to mention fortune) make him “the only” man to be able to bear even Superman. Though I am a huge Star Wars fan(boy) I still have a soft spot for Star Trek as well. Especially the newly launched franchise. The first movie was pretty awesome and based on the apocalyptic looking sequel, fans of Star Trek are in for a ride with this one as well. The new movie puts James T. Kirk against a new foe that seems to shake things up on the Enterprise. The movie by J.J Abrams hits cinemas May next year. Just when you thought next year could not get any bigger with movies…

One of the more interesting movies of the near future is the Man With The Iron Fists starring RZA. The “brought to you by” Quentin Tarantino film is set to be an interesting mix of martial arts and visual effects, not to mention stellar cast (not to mention awesome soundtrack). As a teaser the folks behind the movie have released a water color short film title The Encounter, that serves as an prelude to the upcoming film. Awesome stuff…

It’s been a good weekend and it only got better when I realized they are releasing a new Die Hard movie next year. Bruce Willis is back in the lead role as John McClane and based n the trailer the movie should be pretty much filled with signature Die Hard action.
