Martians Vs. Goblins
by Taavi Kuisma on Dec.21, 2011, under Entertainment, Headlines
Precious moments. Maxwell head bobbing to Martians Vs. Goblins from Game’s Red album. One of my favorite songs from the album as well. Game and Tyler the Creator both murder the track in almost competing verses with Tyler throwing obvious jabs at Game. This good, somewhat twisted track now has a video that matches the song spot on. Cool beats for your Wednesday morning listening pleasure.
Beats By Dr. Dre Studio Color
by Taavi Kuisma on Dec.01, 2011, under Headlines, Social Media & Advertising, Toys, Games and Gadgets
I guess if you went into details in semantics of the ad you could say something like, “the paint in the ad represents the color(s) the new Beats By Dr. Dre headphones bring to one’s life.” Life is so plain so why not add in some color. My take on this however was that the good Doctor likes to throw paint filled water balloons at people just minding their own business. I really like the Beats headphones, can’t afford a pair (or could but don’t dare to buy to retain domestic peace). Not sure if the colorful headphones would be my thing, being the plain kind of guy but it never hurts to have variety for your products. After all, it would be boring if we all were as plain as me…
Tony Montana
by Taavi Kuisma on Nov.11, 2011, under Entertainment, Headlines
The name of the post on the 11.11.11 is Tony Montana. Not just because I just came across a pretty dope song from Pusha T titled Tony Montana (The Official White Girl Remix). But because on certain days you just feel like Tony Montana, you know the World is Yours Tony Montana. I don’t have a tiger or a cash counting machine but still on days like these I do feel like Tony Montana. No particular reason either. It’s just a good day topped with a good meal, time spent with the family. All that…
Nasty Nas
by Taavi Kuisma on Oct.12, 2011, under Entertainment, Headlines
Nas has been one of the most iconic, talented rappers ever since his introduction in the 90′s. There are not many who have a bad thing to say about Illmatic or majority of Nas’ production. Paving way to his upcoming 2012 long play, he has released a new video for the song Nasty paying homage to his early days in the rap game. All I can say is that Nasty Nas keeps delivering and this song sets up great expectations for his next release. Good stuff. Video after the jump.

Snippets
by Taavi Kuisma on Aug.13, 2011, under Entertainment, Headlines
23rd of August is the due date for the anticipated 4th LP from the rapper Game. R.E.D. album’s almost become something like Dr. Dre’s Detox, that is it’s release has been pushed back year after year. Well now the release is only days away and I’m pretty hyped over this. To give you an idea of what to expect, you can listen to the snippets from the album via the below video. Sounds pretty damn promising if you ask me.
Candy Coronas and big plans
by Taavi Kuisma on Aug.02, 2011, under Editorial, Entertainment, Fashion and style, Headlines
…and times were hard. Not that the times are that bad, the last month has not been the easiest but it’s a matter of getting the most of even the hard times and appreciate the entire journey. But I can see light at the end of the tunnel, sunshine after the rain and all that. On the note of ups and downs, our site was down last night, we’ve over grown from our current server environment (which is not a bad thing of course) and need to relocate to perhaps a dedicated server. The plan is already there and should there be more downtime, we’ll get the updates across as soon as possible.
An Eternal Soul
by Taavi Kuisma on Jul.27, 2011, under Entertainment, Headlines
Nothing fits better to one’s day off (I wish I had one right now) than good music. For chilling it’s mostly all about Nujabes catalogs that play on the background when I’m surfing the web or just spending quality time with the family. The world lost a great artist last year with the passing of Sun Jeba aka Nujabes. His music however lives on with numerous artists and music lovers being inspired by his innovative approach to music production. Better yet, a documentary titles An Eternal Soul is coming up just behind the corner giving more insight to Nujabes’ raw talent through his associates and friends. A documentary I can’t wait to see. No release date yet, but we’ll keep you posted. Shout out to Tim for the heads up on this.
Mama’s Boyfriend

Crazy day. Still working. Need to catch some shuteye. But still going strong like one of those bullet trains or something. A good tune for the midnight hours. Mama’s Boyfriend by Kanye West. Good stuff.

Another Monster
by Taavi Kuisma on Jun.05, 2011, under Entertainment, Headlines
It’s funny how these artists release one video for a song, following which they release another video just few weeks or months later. I feel Kanye just dropped a video for Monster and now we can all watch the final version of the video. Even grimier horror-fest than the previous one, but the song is dope and I can’t hate on the video either. I guess it’s all about exposure and two videos definitely catch more buzz than just one.
