NBA Championship, that’s what’s good! Los Angeles Lakers did their thing and took home the trophy beating Celtics 79-83. Much respect to Celtics for putting up one hell of a fight, but in the end there can be only one champion! This year it’s LA Lakers who won their first back to back championship since their last run in 2002.

Hi folks,

Something good, something bad. First, the good. Lakers won the game three of the NBA Finals. Dope! Derek Fisher played a big game as did the rest of the Lakers. Not a bad game from Boston either, but Lakers was the bigger team. Two more to go and Lakers could be popping champagne in Boston. Then the bad. Either the allergy season kick-started early and kicked me in the face or I’m down with a flu. But def not “down with” the flu. Nevertheless, yours truly is not feeling all too hot right now. Yes, I know, I too am just human. Although I do like to quote Lil’ Wayne’s “we are not the same I am a Martian” lyrics quite often. But down with a flu or just battling the ah so precious allergy season, I still find time for our beloved blog and don’t worry any emails sent to my direction are answered as per usual.

Greetings!

You know I’m a bit bummed about Lakers losing to the Celtics last night. I mean it was only 103-94, 9 point game but loss is a loss. The teams are now heading to Boston to continue the series. Lakers better pick their game up and not rely “too much” on Kobe alone. If Lakers are playing like they played in the first game of the Finals, it’s all good. Well fair enough Boston was the better team last night. Few days back I posted a little something on UNDFTD’s finals T and chucks. Now UNDFTS’s message to the world was “You can’s beat LA”, while I do convene to these words I still feel it’s good to post a little something for the other side as well. You know, it’s all in the balance.

What’s good?

I’ve recovered from yesterday’s 24 h NBA Finals, Work, Concert combination and I will write a little more about the latter later today (or possibly tomorrow). Well then For now I have a little edition called “You can’t beat LA”. As the title inclines it does have a little something to do with the LA Lakers. A message directed to the Boston Celtics. The message is actually portrayed on a new line of limited edition shirts and Converse Chuck Taylor high tops with this title. The shirts are only available at UNDFTD stores and not online. Every shirt purchased entitles for a raffle ticket for a chance to win the Chucks. I posted a little something like this last year around the finals and knowing UNDFTD’s Laker fan mentality I knew they were cooking up something. Good look. Greetings earthlings!

The NBA finals are tipping off tonight and yours truly is feeling like a kid before Christmas. I would very much like to watch every single game, but then again I think I would not be able to cope with my daily duties if I did. Well, there are always reruns, summaries and results. But that’s not the same, damn it as I write this I am starting to feel like watching the damn finals. I MUST! GO LAKERS!

Late night, Saturday night. I must be getting old because the night used to start at the midnight, but for me it’s bedtime. But hey, I do want to wake up to watch Batman tomorrow morning, not just that but I have a breakfast to cook for the wifey and just so many things to do I just don’t want to miss out on. I’m a bit late with my writing, since I just spend the last few hours watching Seven Years in Tibet, a movie I had not watched until now and I really liked it. Good stuff.
