It’s been long time coming, but this week we finally managed to have a little photo-shoot for the new natural indigo Lot 750x Northern Denim Co. jeans. You can find the details on the Official Northern Denim Co. site.

The Slim Straight cut jeans are not just great 14.7oz fabric but we wanted to work on the fit as well. Lot 3010 is great with the classic Vintage Straight cut but we wanted to see what could we do to create a slightly slimmer fit while retaining the comfort of the Lot 3010. So we chose a Slim Straight silhouette for the Lot 750x. The denim is nice and tough, though the denim softens after some wear and adjusts nicely to one’s lifestyle. The unwashed denim shrinks quite a bit after a wash (1 to 1.5 inches from the waist and inseam) thus just like with majority of slim fitting jeans out there, it’s best to go with your true size or size up one. But more of the shrinking in another post with the measurements.

April, Spring time. What this also means is Spring cleanup. Not just at home but also with the biz. In the next few days we will be updating our stock, brig in new item and start manifesting 2013 plans for real. Baby business has put some of the plans on hold and we’ve been a bit more quiet than last year, but it’s always family first. Business matters follow closely behind. It’s crazy how fast the time flies. It’s Christmas already! What Christmas brings of course is the Finnish holidays. Similar to past years, Finland goes into holiday mode starting from today. That means the postal services are not operating as per usual and our crew is stepping down to take few days off as well. That said, due to the holidays all orders placed between 21st and 27th of December will be only shipped out after the 27th due to limited postal operating hours next week. It’s been a bit crazy year. Will share more of this at the end of the year in my “annual” editorial. But we’ve loved the “Maxwell sitting on a flying denim carpet picture” tad bit too much, so I have not changed it for ages. However I got inspired last weekend during our trip, of which I will share more on Project Wear and Tear tomorrow. And we took some new visuals that feature focus on the Lot 3010 Northern Denim Co. jeans after year of wear and tear. Dear fans and friends, we’ve had a great year thus far with plenty of new acquaintances from across the globe. We keep the same global mindset we’ve had since the beginning and are not in plans to change that. However last year and this has also resulted in some rather unpleasant cases where certain individuals have attempted to purchase goods from our store using stolen credit cards/details. We are not the only business that has faced such cases and other businesses we know have also been subject to such attempts. We have been fortunate enough not to lose products to such criminal activity where as others have not been so lucky.

The limited edition Viper 002 is designed according to the Viper fit but instead of the Cone denim used with X001, it uses Kaihara’s Brown Denim.
