While back we posted some sneak peeks of the latest KIKS TYO tees to hit our shelves. Summer is T-shirt time without a doubt. For some regions (like Finland) it’s pretty much these few months when you can go out in your tees without covering the shirt with at least one layer of clothing. First off, happy Midsummer to you and yours. Or as they say in Finland, hauskaa juhannusta. Midsummer 2011 is here already, we’re already past the solstice and the day in Finland is at its longest. I would have probably missed the entire holiday unless people wished me happy midsummer. Since this is not such a big deal in Malaysia it comes as no surprise that we are not lighting up bonfires or anything like that.

I like the way Google keeps re-inventing their logo presentation on the iconic www.google.com. Their latest version of the word is done in collaboration with the artist Takashi Murakami who has given Google a KaiKai Kiki treatment. The two versions visible on google.com on the 21st of June mark the first day of summer or winter, depending on one’s location. Nicely done Google.
