Steer the Story
by Taavi Kuisma on Apr.12, 2013, under Comics, Design and Artwork, Entertainment, Headlines, Social Media & Advertising
Audi (namely the Audi R8)has been the “chosen car brand” of Tony Stark aka the Iron Man for few movies already. Riding on the hype of the upcoming Iron Man 3, Audi has launched a co-branded campaign that gives the fans a chance to choose how the story goes. Steer the Story is latest in line of crowd sourced campaigns, that allows fans to have a say in the end-result. As a comic book fan, I approve this campaign.
Legends of the Knight – Batman
by Taavi Kuisma on Feb.25, 2013, under Comics, Design and Artwork, Entertainment, Headlines
Batman, the world’s greatest detective has had a far bigger impact on people’s lives than probably even the creators of the legendary superhero could have fathomed. The character in his complexity has inspired some, brought courage into lives of those in the need of it and has become a superhero almost every little boy aspires to be. A documentary film project by Brett Culp exploring the power of heroic stories & the inspirational impact of Batman, was put up on kickstarter to gather funds for the feature film. Funds which the project collected in only 48 hours. Epic… Epic like the character himself. A man without superpowers but whose dedication and intelligence (not to mention fortune) make him “the only” man to be able to bear even Superman. As a huge fan and a father of another fan I support this project. Check out the trailer below and find out more details on the projects’ Kickstarter Page.

Spider-Man is back! Whether the last few Spider-Man movies were to your liking or not, Sony Pictures is again rebooting the Spider-Man series with the Amazing Spider-Man. The movie’s release is just behind the corner, which means we get to see more and more footage of the upcoming blockbuster. The new trailer looks massive and I am definitely looking forward to Spidey’s new adventures. Awesome!
Captain America – Trailer 2
by Taavi Kuisma on Jun.24, 2011, under Comics, Design and Artwork, Entertainment, Headlines
Can’t believe it’s almost July. What’s so special about July? The release of Captain America: The First Avenger of course. Just to add to the already massive hype around the movie is the latest trailer that shows more footage from the upcoming blockbuster. It’s crazy to even think that it’s been like 4 years since we were speculating on the Captain America the movie and how it should pen. I mean damn, the new trailer gives a pretty good indication of how the movie will be like and I have to say I like it. So make sure to catch the movie which premieres in less than a month.
The Superhero Look
by Taavi Kuisma on Apr.08, 2011, under Accessories & Luggage, Headlines
Right, so stunner shades are an important accessory especially in a sunny environment. You know, to protect your eyes and everything. With so many styles and types of shades out there I thought I had seen everything but it seems that Linda Farrow (in collaboration with Walter Van Beirendonck) has introduced a style of shades that would make even the more conspicuous shades look like average Joe glasses. I’m sure at least most of you are familiar with the Boy Wonder Robin from Batman. Yeah, well the specs are pretty much like a superhero mask. I mean it would probably work on stage for someone with an elaborate outfit or as an accessory for Halloween, but going out wearing these on daily basis might just give you a bad reputation. What do you think?
Avengers Day

Greetings,
I am actually writing this blog from an unnamed park close to my home in Helsinki. I will not name it since I don’t even know if the park has a name. Nevertheless the weather is dynamite and I thought of kicking off my kicks and stepping outside to enjoy some quality time with the wifey just chilling and reading comic books.
Masterminds and Superheroes – Just More Kicks

Good morning world!
Yours truly is back at it like an addict. Not just a denim addict but a sneaker addict who desperately needs to get new kicks but unfortunately has still not been able to cop any. I should get myself something like a basic pair of black Chuck Taylors just to have a pair of new kicks for the summer. I mean damn.
