We’ve been very focused on our denim game with the introduction of Northern Denim Co., work with Railcar Fine Goods and Strike Gold. So much so that we have not put the same emphasis on our T-shirts. Last 6 months have been crazy and mostly in a good way, but it’s about time we stepped our T-shirt game up. We’ve got a batch of crazy new KIKS TYO tees. Are you a Marvel Maniac? I know I am. Which is why most of Marvel related news catch my attention. Especially those mixed with fashion news. I’m sure the recent Stussy x Marvel collaboration is still in everyone’s fresh memory, and now FREAK’S STORE from Tokyo is teaming up with the legendary comic book house for a set of exclusive tees limited to 50 pieces each. The cool thing about the collaboration is that it also involves local creative talents such as Yasumasa Yonehara, Yasushi Fujimoto, Yoshikage Kajiwara, DJ MURO and DJ DARUMA. Basically established names in Japan’s creative scene. According to Hypebeast, the shirts come with, “three cans, one sheet of poster, and a comic book.” The price is 9,975 JPY and the shirts are available from FREAK’S STORE Shibuya only. Good look.

While back we posted some sneak peeks of the latest KIKS TYO tees to hit our shelves. Summer is T-shirt time without a doubt. For some regions (like Finland) it’s pretty much these few months when you can go out in your tees without covering the shirt with at least one layer of clothing. When it comes to KIKS TYO tees, these shirt were made to turn heads and as a friend of mine put it, the shirts turn heads like a chiropractic. Look what the mailman dragged in. We just got a batch of new tees. Most of these babies are gone already but we still have few pieces left in selected sizes. Spring is well under way and it has been a minute since our last batch of fresh tees. With everything happening in Japan and changes within our own organization (expansion to Malaysia) we’ve had a bit longer wait with some of the new product releases.
