Just had mine removed, which means that the chance to impress the NDH staff with one-armed-man jokes is coming to a close. Just a week or so and this typing thing will have returned to its regular “standards”. Still, I must admit I am rather disappointed. All that operating, poking and prodding and I still lack an adamantium skeleton and some shiny claws. Well, can’t have everything.

Then again, talking about the things we can have…

Adidas Originals informed the ecstatically cheering public of the launch of its 2010 Spring/Summer Star Wars collection. The line sports a selection of iconic Wars characters on trainers, track tops and hoodies – for men, women and kids. So if you want your offspring to look as good as their Dada, or get your dear old lady something extra special for that 10th anniversary present, look no further (just remember to hide that diamond ring inside). This collaboration with Lucasfilm includes both shelf and limited items and, if we’re lucky, we’ll see a winter line as well. Which is someting that is being looked forward to as wellies aren’t the most hip items in anyone’s wardrobe.

My current favourite (as not all the details have escaped for our perusing) is the Storm Trooper look below.

The Skywalker style with the orange of Luke’s flightsuit as the main colour ain’t bad either.

The goodies do not stop here though. Oh, this is almost like having the cake and eating it. Red Monkey RMC, a company greatly valued by Tony and I, has created their very own Star Wars jeans in collaboration with Lucasfilm. Much like our jeans, these are also limited to only 500 pairs.

So. What do you guys think? Too much geekiness for one day? Or is it impossible to get too much of the Wars? Let us know. Also, don’t forget the Black Friday Promotion, still on until 30th of November. Act fast.

Now I’m off to enjoy a well deserved, and needed, Sunday brunch.

Au revoir mes amis, and may the Force be with you.
