The 03A was the first ‘Kato’ shaped denim pant, developed as a ‘long leg look piece’ within the Japanese market it was shaped to compliant not only the wearer but also to offer a 3D movement and ease of wear.  The 03A has the same heritage and ‘people watching’ approach as the whole Kato denim range, there is a legend on the wall of Kato's Kyoto office which reads “your denim is just cloth until you put it on”. What  we believe and try to infuse in the garments, the 03A is the essence of this, clothing nothing without the wearer, it’s shape and use is governed by how we wear it.  With the 3D cutting and considerate approach to the fabric we hope that the 03A binds to the wearer.

The 03a, denim is a 32” loomed Zim cotton, 25 year indigo and hand Rivets.
